PBTCA is an organophosphonic acid water treatment agent, chelating and sequestering agent, with lower phosphorus content and lower heavy metal content than other organophosphonates.
PBTC is used as anti-scaling agent and corrosion inhibitor, chelating agent, dispersant, applied in water treatment, cleaning agent, cleaners, textiles bleaching auxiliaries, pool chemicals and so on.
Properties
Because it has the structure of phosphonic acid and carboxylic acid, it has good scale inhibition and corrosion inhibition performance, which is better than the commonly used organophosphonic acid.
Especially at high temperature, PBTCA has much better scale inhibition performance than commonly used organophosphonic acid, can improve the solubility of zinc, good resistance to chlorine oxidation, good synergy, is an excellent stabiliser for zinc salt.

Uses
PBTCA is widely used as corrosion and scale inhibitor in circulating cooling water system and oilfield water injection system. It is especially suitable for compounding with zinc salt and copolymer, and can be used for water treatment under high temperature, high hardness, high alkali and high concentration multiples.
Used as additive to industrial cleaning/bleaching agents (food processing and textile industries).
Used as chelating agent to cleaners, cleaning agents, metal surface treatment, etc.

Package and storage
25kg or 30kg per plastic drum;

Store in a cool and ventilated place indoors, moisture-proof, storage period of 12 months.
Safety and protection
Acidic, should avoid contact with eyes and skin, once splashed, should be immediately flushed with plenty of water.
