Tetrasodium Hydroxy-IminoDiSuccinate, abbreviated as Na4HIDS, is a non-phosphorus degradable chelating/complexing agent (sequestrant, sequestering agent).
Na4HIDS can effectively chelate metal ions such as iron and copper, and hard water ions such as calcium and magnesium over a wide pH range.

Na4HIDS can replace non-degradable chelating agents (such as EDTA, DTPA, etc.), suspected carcinogenic restricted chelating agents (NTA, etc.), and organophosphine chelating agents. As a formulation component, the final products (detergents, textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries, etc.) can more easily comply with various environmental certifications and standards.
Na4HIDS has good thermal stability, high solubility under strong alkali conditions and low corrosiveness to glass.
Na4HIDS has a wide range of applications in detergents, water treatment agents, textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries and other industries.
