Flame Retardant FRPA NP200 is a highly efficient non-halogenated flame retardant. Highly water-repellent and non-migratory properties. Mainly applicable to PA and other series of engineering plastics.
In the process of combustion, it produces a carbon layer that can be expanded to achieve the effect of heat insulation, oxygen insulation and preventing the further spread of flame on the surface, so as to play the role of fire prevention and flame retardant. This flame retardant does not hydrolyze, does not precipitate, and has good carbon self-extinguishing property.

Applications

NP200 is especially designed for use in PA, suitable for glass fiber reinforced PA and non-reinforced PA, the modified material shows good physical and electrical properties.
In 30% glass fiber reinforced PA, when NP200 is added at 15%, the product is usually enough to meet the flame retardant requirements of 1.6mm UL94V-0, and the color of the injection molded parts is white, not gray. The color of the injection molded part is white, no gray. It has good processing performance, no streaking, no foaming.
Differences in formulation and processing may result in different amounts of flame retardant additives, the nylon should be dried before processing, the moisture content is less than 0.1%. The processing temperature should not exceed 350℃.

Note

The product is a non-carrier masterbatch, only need to stir at low speed for 20 to 30 seconds. Do not mix at high speed to avoid dispersing the flame retardant, which may cause delamination or unbalanced feeding. Diffusion oil can be added to prevent delamination, do not use white mineral oil and other non-high-temperature-resistant adhesives.

Packing and Storage

Packed in paper-plastic composite bag lined with plastic bag, net weight 25kg per bag. Store in a cool and dry place and transport according to general chemicals.
