Uses

EDTA is widely used and is a representative substance of chelating agent. It can form stable water-soluble complexes with alkali metals, rare earth elements and transition metals. It is widely used in polymer chemical industry, daily chemical industry, paper industry, pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, textile printing and dyeing industry, aquaculture, photographic chemicals, oil field chemicals, water treatment agents, boiler cleaning agents and analytical reagents.

EDTA-2Na is an important complexing agent, used for complexing metal ions and separating metals, this product is used as bleaching fixing solution for color photographic material developing and processing, and dyeing auxiliary, fiber treatment agent, cosmetic additive, medicine, food, agricultural chemical microfertilizer production, blood anticoagulant, complexing agent, detergent, stabilizer, synthetic rubber, polymerization initiator and heavy metal quantitative analysis agent, etc.
In the chlorinated reduction initiation system for SBR polymerization, disodium EDTA is used as a component of the active agent, mainly for complexing iron ions and controlling the rate of polymerization reaction.

EDTA-4Na is a widely used metal ion chelating agent. It can be used in textile industry dyeing, water quality treatment, color sensitization, pharmaceutical, daily chemical, detergent, paper making and other industries as additive, activator, water purifier, metal ion masking agent and activator in butyl rubber industry. It is used in the dry acrylic industry to offset metal interference and improve the color and brightness of the dyed fabric.
